What a Solarium Coffee Cart Looks Like at Your School

Our self-contained cart rolls into your school lobby, staff lounge, gymnasium, or outdoor courtyard. Teachers walk up to a beautifully presented espresso bar, order whatever they want from the full menu, and leave with a drink that feels like a real treat. Not a Keurig pod. Not a carafe from a grocery store. A handcrafted latte pulled from a La Marzocco espresso machine with single-origin beans from George Howell Coffee Company.

Ben or Halle is behind the cart at every school event. They set up before your event window, run service for the full duration, and clean up completely. There is nothing for your PTO committee to coordinate on event day beyond pointing teachers toward the cart.

The seasonal menu is a hit at school events. Fall brings our Clovara latte (maple, clove, orange). Spring brings the Orange Blossom. Teachers who have never had specialty coffee before tend to become repeat fans.

Teacher Appreciation Coffee Cart FAQ

  • Most PTOs pay from their event budget and book directly through our quote form. We send a clear total upfront so your committee can approve it before committing. If payment by card doesn't work let us know and we can arrange other payment methods.

  • Approximately 50 drinks per hour. A standard 1-barista, 2-hour booking comfortably serves a school with up to 80 staff.

  • Yes. The cart needs a 6x6 ft space and one standard 15-amp outlet. School lobbies, staff lounges, gymnasiums, cafeterias, and outdoor courtyards all work.

  • Hot chocolate, matcha lattes, and chai lattes are available as add-ons. Hot chocolate is popular for events that include students or younger guests.

  • Two to three weeks is typical. Teacher Appreciation Week (early May) books up fast (sometimes a year in advance), so reach out early for that window.

  • Ben and Halle. The same people you text with about logistics are the same people at your school.
