Solarium is owner-led. Ben and Halle plan and coordinate every event, and most of the time they are behind the bar too, alongside a team of baristas they trained themselves. We are about 20 minutes away in Framingham, we pour single estate espresso roasted in Massachusetts by George Howell Coffee Company, and we make our syrups from scratch. See the cart at past events →

How Booking Works
Event planning has enough moving parts. Here is the whole process.
Tell us about your event
Date, Waltham venue, rough headcount, and service window in the booking form. It takes about two minutes and a price comes back in minutes.
Talk it through
You speak directly with Ben or Halle. In an office park, we confirm loading dock access, elevators, and outlet placement so nothing surprises anyone on the day.
Lock in your date
A signed agreement and a deposit hold your date. Waltham's corporate calendar fills fast in the fall and around annual meeting season, so book those dates early.
Enjoy your own event
We arrive before your first guest, run clean service throughout, and leave the space exactly as we found it. You will not have to manage us.
Waltham Questions We Get a Lot
How much space and power do you need?
A 6x6 ft footprint and one dedicated 15-amp outlet. That covers the cart and room for the baristas to work. We carry a 25 ft extension cord if we cannot be right next to the outlet. For loading we need ground-level entry or a freight elevator. Outdoors, we can bring a 12x12 ft tent and a generator so no outlet is needed.
Can you set up in a Waltham office park or at Brandeis or Bentley?
Yes, and we have worked in plenty of lobbies, atriums, and conference rooms. For CityPoint, Bay Colony, Hobbs Brook, or the Totten Pond Road buildings, we confirm loading access and outlet placement ahead of time. Campus receptions, department events, and alumni gatherings at Brandeis and Bentley work the same way. We carry liability insurance and can send a certificate to your building or coordinator on request.
Is there a travel fee for Waltham events?
No. Waltham is about 20 minutes from our Framingham base and sits inside the travel area already covered by our package prices, including Wyman Street, Totten Pond Road, Winter Street, and Moody Street. The number you see on the pricing page is the number you pay.
How far in advance should I book?
Two weeks of lead time is usually enough for standard weekday corporate events. For fall, holiday gatherings, and annual meeting season, 4 to 8 weeks is a safer target. That said, reach out even if your date is close. We often make it work.
Who actually shows up on the day?
A Solarium barista team, usually with Ben or Halle behind the bar. Ben and Halle coordinate every event and work most of them in person. On larger events, or days with more than one booking, our baristas run the bar, all trained by us to the same standard. You are not hiring an agency that sends whoever is free.
Can you brand the cups or create a drink for our company?
Yes, and the signature drink and custom menu are free with every booking. We build the drink around your brand, product, or event, and design the menu with your logo, colors, or names. Branded cups, a branded cart, and an on-drink logo printer are optional add-ons, and custom cups need about two weeks notice. Add-on prices are listed here →
