Owner-Operated by Ben and Halle | Services Start at $599 | 5.0 ★ (50+) Google Reviews | Specialty Coffee from Local MA Roasters

Brookline is roughly 17 miles and 30 minutes from our Framingham home base, a straight shot down the Mass Pike before turning into the city. It sits inside our standard service radius, which means no travel fee for most Brookline locations, the same as Boston, Newton, and Wellesley. Coolidge Corner, Brookline Village, Washington Square, and the Chestnut Hill side of town are all familiar territory for us, and the quote process is fast.

Brookline is one of the more discerning markets we serve. The town is bordered on three sides by Boston, and its residents already drink well with a handful of strong independent cafes are walking distance from most homes. Hosts and event organizers in Brookline tend to research their vendors carefully. A coffee program at a wedding or corporate event here has to clear the bar already set by the neighborhood. That is exactly the bar Solarium is built to clear.

The espresso for every Brookline event is single-estate coffee from George Howell Coffee Company, a Massachusetts roaster Ben and Halle source from directly. This is not a commodity blend bought through a distributor and rebranded for events. It is the same caliber of coffee a serious home brewer in Brookline would order online, served in a cup made for a guest at your event. Our syrups, including Halle's Morning vanilla, are made from scratch, not pumped from a plastic bottle.

Pricing starts at $599 and the quote form returns your price in minutes. If you have a date in mind, we recommend reaching out as early as you can. Peak weekends and holiday-season corporate dates fill up first.

Wedding Coffee Cart Catering in Brookline

Brookline has an unusually strong concentration of wedding venues for a town of its size. The Larz Anderson Auto Museum in the Larz Anderson Park, named a Best of Boston wedding venue, and The Country Club on Clyde Street, the oldest country club in the United States, are two of the most recognizable. Couples also hold ceremonies and receptions at the Holy Name Society spaces, the Coolidge Corner Theatre, and at private residences across Coolidge Corner and Chestnut Hill.

For a wedding here, a coffee cart usually serves late-afternoon cocktail hour, post-dinner espresso service, or a next-day brunch. We can do all three. The setup fits a 6x6 ft space and rolls into most museum galleries, country club halls, ballrooms, and tented receptions.

  • Hot and iced lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, and seasonal signature drinks

  • Decaf espresso included for evening service at no extra charge

  • Optional custom cup branding or signature drink to match wedding details

  • Clean breakdown so the venue is left exactly as we found it

Ben and Halle run the bar themselves. No staffing agency, no day-of substitute. See more on our wedding service →

Corporate Coffee Catering and Longwood Medical Area Events

Brookline's eastern edge sits directly against the Longwood Medical Area, home to Beth Israel Deaconess, Boston Children's Hospital, Dana-Farber, and Harvard Medical School. Many institutional offices, research facilities, and academic spaces in and around Longwood are easy access for our cart. Beacon Street and Harvard Street offices in Coolidge Corner are within the same service window.

For fellowship recognition events, department milestones, hospital and staff appreciation, research lab celebrations, and corporate office activations, we set up a full espresso bar in a conference room, lobby, atrium, or cafeteria. The cart needs a 6x6 ft area and a dedicated 15-amp outlet. We bring a 25-foot extension cord, all cups and lids, water, and waste handling.

  • 1 barista serves about 50 drinks per hour, suitable for events up to 100 to 150 guests, starting at $599

  • 2 baristas serve about 100 drinks per hour, suitable for larger institutional events, starting at $999

  • Custom cup branding available with two weeks' notice for any logo or event mark

Private Events and Celebrations in Coolidge Corner, Washington Square, and Chestnut Hill

Brookline residential events tend to be planned with care. The hosts we hear from are often putting together brunches, milestone birthday parties, bar and bat mitzvahs, engagement parties, and graduation celebrations in homes around Coolidge Corner, Washington Square, Chestnut Hill, and Cottage Farm. The cart fits cleanly into most dining rooms, kitchens, patios, and back yards.

Standard residential setup needs:

  • 6x6 ft of floor or patio space for the cart and a small support table

  • A dedicated 15-amp outlet within 25 feet

  • Ground-level access or a freight elevator for roll-in

For outdoor events without easy power access, we bring a generator. For uncertain weather, our 12x12 ft tent is available as an add-on. Ben and Halle handle the entire setup and breakdown so the host can spend the event with guests instead of managing logistics.

Our menu for residential events typically leans on the classics that play well at brunch: Halle's Morning vanilla latte, the Cinnamon Sugar latte, an iced single-estate americano, and a rotating seasonal drink. Decaf espresso is included for evening events. See more on our private events service →

Brookline Public Schools, PTO Events, and Teacher Appreciation

Brookline Public Schools have a strong PTO culture, and teacher appreciation events here tend to be coordinated thoughtfully across the school year. We set up in school lobbies, staff rooms, or cafeterias and serve a full espresso menu for the duration of the window. The setup is the same 6x6 ft footprint and a single 15-amp outlet.

For elementary schools, we keep hot chocolate available so younger guests at family events have something on the menu. For staff-only appreciation events, the lineup focuses on the espresso menu the teachers ordering it actually want. See more on our teacher appreciation service →

How Booking Works

1. Get Your Quote

Fill out our quote form with your event date, Brookline location, estimated guest count, and service window. Services start at $599, and there is no travel fee for most Brookline locations. A price comes back in minutes, not days.

2. Talk Through the Details

Speak directly with Ben or Halle about add-ons, logistics, space, and power. Brookline's neighborhood layout, parking, and venue logistics are familiar to us. If your event is at a venue we already know, this step is usually quick. If it is at a private home or a venue we are seeing for the first time, we will ask a few targeted questions about access and outlet placement.

3. Reserve Your Date

Your date is held once a booking agreement is signed and the deposit is received. Brookline's spring graduation season, June and September wedding weekends, and the late-fall and December corporate calendar fill up first. If you know your date, lock it in early.

4. We Handle the Rest

We arrive before your guests, set up cleanly, run the bar for the full service window, and clear out completely at the end. You will not have to manage us. Your guests will remember the coffee.

Pricing and Capacity

Our pricing is published, transparent, and the same across event types. Weddings, Longwood-area office events, private brunches, and school appreciation gatherings all use the same rate card. No hidden charges, no event-type markups.

What shapes your final quote:

  • Service duration (most events run 2 to 3 hours)

  • Guest count (we will help you right-size; one barista is plenty for most events under 100 guests)

  • Add-ons selected

  • Specific venue logistics if any

Frequently Asked Questions

Take a look at some of our most commonly asked questions, if something isn't covered, we're always a message away.

Service & Setup

  • A 6x6 ft area and a dedicated 15-amp outlet. That covers our cart, a small support table, and room for the baristas to work. We bring a 25-foot extension cord. For Coolidge Corner and Brookline Village brownstones and walk-ups, we ask in advance about ground-level or freight access for roll-in. We do not need running water at the venue.

  • Yes. Both venues fit our cart footprint comfortably. Larz Anderson's main gallery, carriage house, and great lawn (with tent) all work for our setup, and The Country Club's interior event spaces are similarly straightforward. We do not have an exclusive contract with either venue, so we will need confirmation that outside coffee service is permitted on your booking.

  • Yes. We can bring a 12x12 ft tent and a generator as add-ons for events at Larz Anderson Park, residential back yards, or any other outdoor Brookline venue. Power access changes the quote, so let us know in the form whether an outlet is reachable from where the cart will sit.

  • Setup is about 45 minutes and breakdown is about 30 minutes. Both are included in your quote. We arrive early and work quickly so we are ready before your first guest, and we clear out completely at the end so the venue is left as we found it.

Beverage Options & Customization

  • The menu includes espressos, americanos, cappuccinos, lattes, macchiatos, iced versions of all of the above, and our rotating seasonal and signature drinks. Halle's Morning (an oat milk vanilla latte made with our house syrup) is the most popular standard. Each season brings a new specialty drink, including Clovara in the fall and Orange Blossom in the spring.

  • Yes. Whole milk and oat milk are standard on every event. Almond and coconut milk are available with advance notice. Our syrups are made from scratch and we can flag the specific ingredients if a guest has an allergy. Decaf espresso is also available, and it is included at no extra charge for evening events.

  • Yes. Matcha lattes, chai lattes, and hot chocolate are available as add-ons. Iced versions are available for warm-weather events.

  • Single-estate espresso from George Howell Coffee Company, a Massachusetts roaster. Ben and Halle source directly. Our current rotation includes a Montecarlos Medium from El Salvador. We do not buy commodity blends through a distributor, and the difference is noticeable in the cup, especially to Brookline guests who already high quality coffes.

Booking & Payment

  • Services start at $599 for one barista serving up to about 50 drinks per hour for two hours. Most Brookline events with 50 to 100 guests land in the $900 to $1,200 range depending on length and add-ons. Larger events with two baristas start at $999. Hourly rates beyond 2 hours are $200 per barista-hour. Travel is no fee for most Brookline locations.

  • No travel fee for most Brookline locations. Brookline is roughly 30 minutes from our Framingham base via the Mass Pike, well within our no-fee service area. If a specific venue requires unusual access (a unique residential setup, a late-night load-out, or anything else atypical), we will tell you in the quote rather than as a surprise.

  • Two to four weeks is usually enough lead time for a weekday or off-peak weekend event. Peak Brookline dates fill up further out: June, September, and October weekends for weddings, and the November to mid-December stretch for corporate and holiday parties. As soon as you know your date, reach out. We limit our availability to maintain quality, and once a date is booked, it is held.

  • More than 14 days out, deposit is refunded minus any non-recoverable expenses already incurred, and any additional payments are refunded in full. Between 7 and 14 days, the deposit is non-refundable, and additional payments may be refunded minus non-recoverable expenses. Within 7 days of the event, no refunds are issued. If we cancel for any reason, you get a full refund.

General

  • Ben and Halle, always. Solarium does not use a third-party staffing agency. The two people you communicate with during planning are the same two people setting up the cart, pulling the espresso shots, and breaking down at the end. This is not a marketing line. It is how the business is structured.

  • Yes. Coolidge Corner, Brookline Village, Washington Square, Chestnut Hill, Cottage Farm, North Brookline, and South Brookline are all within our standard Brookline service area. We mention them by name because parking, access, and venue logistics differ across neighborhoods, and we want you to know we have thought about it.

  • Yes. Solarium Coffee LLC carries general liability insurance. We can provide a certificate of insurance on request, which most Brookline venues, including Larz Anderson and The Country Club, will require for vendor approval.

  • Two things, and they are connected. First, Ben and Halle are at every event personally. No staffing agency, no last-minute substitute, no day-of coordinator you have not met. Second, the coffee itself is genuinely specialty grade: single-estate espresso from George Howell Coffee Company, syrups made from scratch, drinks made to order on a La Marzocco machine. Most coffee cart operations in the Boston area use commodity beans and bottled syrups. Solarium does not. Both differences are easy to taste in the cup.
