Coffee Catering in Brookline, MA
Owner-Operated by Ben and Halle | Transparent, Published Pricing | 5.0 ★ Google Reviews | Specialty Coffee from Local Roasters
Brookline already knows what good coffee tastes like. This is a town where strong independent cafes sit within walking distance of most front doors, and where people can tell the difference between a carefully pulled shot and a lever pulled on autopilot. Bordered on three sides by Boston, Brookline holds its vendors to a high standard, and hosts here tend to research carefully before they book. A coffee program at a Brookline wedding or corporate event has to clear a bar the neighborhood already set. That is exactly the bar Solarium is built to clear, whether your event is in Coolidge Corner, Brookline Village, Washington Square, or out toward Chestnut Hill.
The espresso at every Brookline event is single estate coffee from George Howell, the Newtonville roaster Ben and Halle source from directly. This is not a commodity blend bought through a distributor and rebranded for events. It is the caliber of coffee a serious home brewer in Brookline would order online, served fresh in a cup made for a guest at your event. Our syrups, including Halle's Morning vanilla, are made from scratch with real ingredients, never pumped from a plastic bottle.
Brookline sits inside our standard service radius, so most addresses carry no travel fee. If you have a date in mind, reach out early, since peak weekends and holiday-season corporate dates fill first.
Our Most Popular Services in Brookline
Here are the most popular event types we book. If you don’t see yours here, check out all our services.
Wedding Coffee Cart Catering in Brookline
Brookline has an unusually strong concentration of wedding venues for a town of its size. The Larz Anderson Auto Museum in the Larz Anderson Park, named a Best of Boston wedding venue, and The Country Club on Clyde Street, the oldest country club in the United States, are two of the most recognizable. Couples also hold ceremonies and receptions at the Holy Name Society spaces, the Coolidge Corner Theatre, and at private residences across Coolidge Corner and Chestnut Hill.
For a wedding here, a coffee cart usually serves late-afternoon cocktail hour, post-dinner espresso service, or a next-day brunch. We can do all three. The setup fits a 6x6 ft space and rolls into most museum galleries, country club halls, ballrooms, and tented receptions.
Hot and iced lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, matches, and seasonal signature drinks
Decaf espresso included for evening service at no extra charge
Optional custom cup branding or signature drink to match wedding details
Clean breakdown so the venue is left exactly as we found it
Ben and Halle work with every client directly. There is no staffing agency, no scheduling coordinator, no account manager handing you off. The person you talk to during planning is one of us, every time. Most of the time, we are the ones behind the cart at your event. When we bring in additional help, it is always a team member we have trained directly and vouched for personally.
Corporate Coffee Catering and Longwood Medical Area Events
Brookline's eastern edge sits directly against the Longwood Medical Area, home to Beth Israel Deaconess, Boston Children's Hospital, Dana-Farber, and Harvard Medical School. Many institutional offices, research facilities, and academic spaces in and around Longwood are easy access for our cart. Beacon Street and Harvard Street offices in Coolidge Corner are within the same service window.
For fellowship recognition events, department milestones, hospital and staff appreciation, research lab celebrations, and corporate office activations, we set up a full espresso bar in a conference room, lobby, atrium, or cafeteria. The cart needs a 6x6 ft area and a dedicated 15-amp outlet. We bring a 25-foot extension cord, all cups and lids, water, and waste handling.
When you book Solarium, you are booking Ben and Halle, the same two people who answer your booking emails. Most of the time, one or both of us is the barista behind the cart on event day. When we bring in additional help, it is someone we have trained directly.
Private Events and Celebrations in Coolidge Corner, Washington Square, and Chestnut Hill
Brookline residential events tend to be planned with care. The hosts we hear from are often putting together brunches, milestone birthday parties, bar and bat mitzvahs, engagement parties, and graduation celebrations in homes around Coolidge Corner, Washington Square, Chestnut Hill, and Cottage Farm. The cart fits cleanly into most dining rooms, kitchens, patios, and back yards.
Standard residential setup needs:
6x6 ft of floor or patio space for the cart and a small support table
A dedicated 15-amp outlet within 25 feet
Ground-level access or a freight elevator for roll-in
For outdoor events without easy power access, we bring a generator. For uncertain weather, our 12x12 ft tent is available as an add-on. Ben and Halle ensure a smooth setup and breakdown so the host can spend the event with guests instead of managing logistics.
Our menu for residential events typically leans on the classics that play well at brunch: Halle's Morning vanilla latte, the Cinnamon Sugar latte, an iced single estate americano, and a rotating seasonal drink. Decaf espresso is complementary for evening events.
Brookline Public Schools, PTO Events, and Teacher Appreciation
Brookline Public Schools have a strong PTO culture, and teacher appreciation events here tend to be coordinated thoughtfully across the school year. We set up in school lobbies, staff rooms, or cafeterias and serve a full espresso menu for the duration of the window. The setup is the same 6x6 ft footprint and a single 15-amp outlet.
For elementary schools, we can serve hot chocolate so younger guests at family events have something on the menu. For staff-only appreciation events, the lineup focuses on the espresso and matcha menu the teachers ordering it actually want.

How Booking Works
1. Get Your Quote
Fill out our quote form with your event date, Brookline location, estimated guest count, and service window. A price comes back in minutes, not days.
2. Talk Through the Details
Speak directly with Ben or Halle about add-ons, logistics, space, and power. Brookline's neighborhood layout, parking, and venue logistics are familiar to us. If your event is at a venue we already know, this step is usually quick. If it is at a private home or a venue we are seeing for the first time, we will ask a few targeted questions about access and outlet placement.
3. Reserve Your Date
Your date is held once a booking agreement is signed and the deposit is received. Brookline's spring graduation season, June and September wedding weekends, and the late-fall and December corporate calendar fill up first. If you know your date, lock it in early.
4. We Handle the Rest
We arrive before your guests, set up cleanly, run the bar for the full service window, and clear out completely at the end. You will not have to manage us. Your guests will remember the coffee.
CAPACITY AND PRICINGTransparent Pricing, Published Up Front
You have enough unknowns in your event budget. Our pricing should not be one of them, so we publish every number on our coffee catering pricing page. No quote form required to see a price, no three day wait. No surprises, no surcharges, no credit card fees.

Frequently Asked Questions
Take a look at some of our most commonly asked questions, if something isn't covered, we're always a message away.
Service & Setup
-
A 6x6 ft area and a dedicated 15-amp outlet. That covers our cart, a small support table, and room for the baristas to work. We bring a 25-foot extension cord. For Coolidge Corner and Brookline Village brownstones and walk-ups, we ask in advance about ground-level or freight access for roll-in. We do not need running water at the venue.
-
Yes. Both venues fit our cart footprint comfortably. Larz Anderson's main gallery, carriage house, and great lawn (with tent) all work for our setup, and The Country Club's interior event spaces are similarly straightforward. We do not have an exclusive contract with either venue, so we will need confirmation that outside coffee service is permitted on your booking.
-
Yes. We can bring a 12x12 ft tent and a generator as add-ons for events at Larz Anderson Park, residential back yards, or any other outdoor Brookline venue. Power access changes the quote, so let us know in the form whether an outlet is reachable from where the cart will sit.
-
Setup is about 45 minutes and breakdown is about 30 minutes. Both are included in your quote. We arrive early and work quickly so we are ready before your first guest, and we clear out completely at the end so the venue is left as we found it.
Beverage Options & Customization
-
The menu includes espressos, americanos, cappuccinos, lattes, matches, iced versions of all of the above, and our rotating seasonal and signature drinks. Halle's Morning (an oat milk vanilla latte made with our house syrup) is the most popular standard. Each season brings a new specialty drink, including Clovara in the fall and Orange Blossom in the spring.
-
Yes. Whole milk and oat milk are standard on every event. Almond and coconut milk are available with advance notice. Our syrups are made from scratch and we can flag the specific ingredients if a guest has an allergy. Decaf espresso is also available, and it is included at no extra charge for evening events.
-
Yes. Matcha lattes are included with every booking. Chai lattes are available as add-ons. Iced versions are available.
-
Single estate espresso from George Howell Coffee Company, a Massachusetts roaster. Ben and Halle source directly. Our current rotation includes a Montecarlos Medium from El Salvador. We do not buy commodity blends through a distributor, and the difference is noticeable in the cup, especially to Brookline guests who already high quality coffes.
Booking & Payment
-
No travel fee for most Brookline locations. Brookline is roughly 30 minutes from our Framingham base via the Mass Pike, well within our no-fee service area. If a specific venue requires unusual access (a unique residential setup, a late-night load-out, or anything else atypical), we will tell you in the quote rather than as a surprise.
-
Two to four weeks is usually enough lead time for a weekday or off-peak weekend event. Peak Brookline dates fill up further out: June, September, and October weekends for weddings, and the November to mid-December stretch for corporate and holiday parties. As soon as you know your date, reach out. We limit our availability to maintain quality, and once a date is booked, it is held.
-
More than 14 days out, deposit is refunded minus any non-recoverable expenses already incurred, and any additional payments are refunded in full. Between 7 and 14 days, the deposit is non-refundable, and additional payments may be refunded minus non-recoverable expenses. Within 7 days of the event, no refunds are issued. If we cancel for any reason, you get a full refund.
General
-
Solarium Coffee is an owner-operated business. Ben and Halle are personally involved in every event we book, from the initial planning conversations through menu decisions and day-of logistics. Most of the time, one or both of us will be the barista behind the cart. For larger events, or on the occasional day when both of us cannot be on site, a trained team member joins or stands in for us. Anyone representing Solarium has been prepared by us directly and is held to the same standards we set for ourselves.
-
Yes. Coolidge Corner, Brookline Village, Washington Square, Chestnut Hill, Cottage Farm, North Brookline, and South Brookline are all within our standard Brookline service area. We mention them by name because parking, access, and venue logistics differ across neighborhoods, and we want you to know we have thought about it.
-
Yes. Solarium Coffee LLC carries general liability insurance. We can provide a certificate of insurance on request, which most Brookline venues, including Larz Anderson and The Country Club, will require for vendor approval.
-
Three things. First, Ben and Halle are personally involved in every event we book, and most of the time we're the baristas behind the cart. When we bring in additional help, that person has been trained directly by us. You're not hiring a company that dispatches a stranger on your event day. Second, the coffee is genuinely specialty grade. We serve single estate espresso from roasters like George Howell Coffee Company, not commodity beans from a food service distributor. Third, every syrup is made from scratch. The result is a noticeably better cup of coffee served by people who actually care about your event going well.
