Specialty Coffee Catering in Concord, MA

Owner-Operated | No Travel Fee for Concord Events | 5.0 ★ (50+) on Google | Services Start at $599 | Single Estate Coffee

A specialty mobile espresso bar fits Concord because the town already cares quality. The audience here notices the difference between catering coffee from a commercial urn and a latte made to order from beans selected and roasted with intention.

Solarium Coffee is based in Framingham, roughly 30 minutes from Concord Center via Route 2 and the Wayland corridor. Whether the event is a wedding, a faculty appreciation morning at a local school, a milestone birthday in West Concord, or a quarterly team breakfast at one of the science companies near Crosby's Corner, the cart fits the room and the menu fits the moment.

Every drink we serve at a Concord event is made on a professional espresso machine using single-estate espresso from George Howell Coffee Company, paired with house-made syrups including Halle's Morning vanilla, Brown Sugar Cinnamon, and two rotating seasonal flavors. Ben and Halle, the owners, plan and run our events personally, which means the person you correspond with during booking is the person you meet on event day.

Services start at $599, with no travel fee for most Concord events. Fill out the form below for an instant quote, or keep reading to see what a Solarium event looks like.

Wedding Coffee Cart Catering in Concord

Concord's wedding venue landscape is deeper than most towns its size. The Colonial Inn on Monument Square anchors the historic-inn category. The Umbrella Arts Center at 51 Walden offers a contemporary gallery setting. The Concord Museum and the grounds along Lexington Road host private events with serious architectural character. Just over the town line, the Pierce House in Lincoln and the Codman Estate Carriage House are popular with Concord couples who want a country setting close to home.

A specialty coffee cart works particularly well at Concord weddings because it adds a distinct experience to a long reception day without competing with the main bar or catering service. Common placements:

  • An espresso and cappuccino service during the cocktail hour

  • A latte bar during cake cutting or the dessert window

  • A late-night cold brew or signature drink station to keep guests on the dance floor

  • A morning-after farewell service for out-of-town guests at the Colonial Inn or a nearby host home

We can develop a custom signature drink named after the couple or the wedding theme, built around our house-made syrups. Decaf espresso is complimentary for evening service, and our 6 ft by 6 ft footprint fits comfortably in most ballrooms, garden tents, and historic event rooms. Spring and fall weekends in Concord book quickly. If your date is in May, June, September, or October, reach out as early as you can.

Independent School and PTO Events in Concord

Concord has one of the deepest school clusters in MetroWest. The school year here generates a steady calendar of faculty appreciation mornings, admissions events, alumni receptions, parent association breakfasts, and end-of-year celebrations.

A full espresso bar genuinely changes the tone of these events, particularly for school staff who spend their days taking care of other people. Solarium brings everything: equipment, single-estate espresso, house-made syrups, cups, milk (whole and oat as standard), and waste handling. The cart fits in most school lobbies, faculty rooms, gymnasium foyers, and admissions reception areas.

For events with younger students or family attendance, hot chocolate and steamed milk drinks can be added. Iced lattes are standard for all events. For PTO teacher appreciation weeks in May, we recommend booking 1 to 3 months in advance. That stretch fills up across the entire MetroWest and Greater Boston areas.

Private Celebrations in Concord and West Concord

Private events at homes in Nashawtuc Hill, Concord Center, West Concord, and the Cambridge Turnpike neighborhoods are some of our favorite bookings. The cart fits in most dining rooms, kitchens with open floor space, living rooms, back patios, and yards. For backyard events without an accessible outlet, our generator and 12 ft by 12 ft tent are available as add-ons.

The hosts who book Solarium for a private celebration tend to tell us the same thing afterward: they spent the event enjoying their guests instead of managing logistics. Common Concord home events we serve:

  • Milestone birthdays and anniversary brunches

  • Bridal and baby showers

  • Graduation celebrations for Concord-Carlisle, Concord Academy, and other school families

  • Holiday gatherings and post-wedding farewell brunches

  • Memorials and life celebrations

Every event includes unlimited drinks from our full menu, made to order for the entire service window. Halle's Morning, our signature oat-milk vanilla latte, is the most-requested drink at private events and has been since our first booking.

Corporate Coffee Catering in Concord

Concord's corporate landscape is concentrated near Crosby's Corner, the easternmost commercial district that sits at the gateway to Hanscom Air Force Base. The cluster of science-focused companies, professional services firms, and modern office buildings here books coffee service for team appreciation events, client breakfasts, all-hands meetings, and product or research milestones. The West Concord business district, anchored by the MBTA station and the office buildings along Commonwealth Avenue, generates a similar calendar of corporate events.

Solarium brings a fully self-contained espresso bar that fits a standard conference room, lobby, atrium, or breakroom. The cart requires a 6x6 ft space and a dedicated 15-amp outlet. Setup, service, and breakdown are entirely handled by us. You will not need to manage the vendor on event day.

Corporate clients in Concord often add:

  • Custom cup branding with a company logo ($150, 2 weeks notice)

  • A custom signature drink developed for the event ($100)

  • Custom cart branding in brand colors ($300, 2 weeks notice)

For client-facing or product launch events, the branding options turn the coffee cart into a memorable touchpoint that guests carry with them. For internal team events, the made-to-order service signals to the room that the day was thought through.

How Booking Works

Event planning involves enough variables already. Here is how we keep the coffee cart simple.

Step 1: Get Your Free Quote

Fill out the booking form with your event date, Concord venue or address, estimated guest count, and service window. Services start at $599. Most Concord events have no travel fee. A quote comes back in minutes.

Step 2: Talk Through the Details

You speak directly with Ben or Halle. No coordinator, no handoff. We walk through menu choices, add-ons, venue logistics, and power access. For Concord venues, we will confirm load-in path, outlet placement, and timing so there are no day-of surprises. For school and corporate events, we will coordinate directly with your facilities or events contact.

Step 3: Reserve Your Date

Your date is held once a booking agreement is signed and the deposit is received. Concord's spring season fills quickly, particularly for May PTO events at Concord-Carlisle and the elementary schools, June graduations, and weekend weddings at the Colonial Inn and other historic venues. The earlier you reach out, the more flexibility you have.

Step 4: We Handle the Rest

Ben or Halle arrives before your first guests, sets up without disrupting the space, runs clean service throughout the window, and clears out completely. You will not have to manage us. Your guests will remember the coffee.

Frequently Asked Questions

Booking a mobile coffee cart for the first time comes with questions. We have answered the ones we hear most below. If something is not covered, Ben or Halle will respond to your inquiry promptly.

Service & Setup

  • Yes. Historic venues with standard power access are well within our setup range. The cart needs a 6x6 ft space and a dedicated 15-amp outlet, with a 25 ft extension cord available if the nearest outlet is not adjacent. We are used to working with venue coordinators on load-in routes and timing, and we will confirm those details before your event.

  • Yes. Outdoor service is one of the most common types of bookings we take. For events without a venue-supplied outlet, our generator and 12 ft by 12 ft tent are available as add-ons. We bring our own water supply and handle all waste, so we do not need any utilities from the venue. For events on conservation land or at National Park-adjacent venues, share the venue contact with us during booking and we will coordinate any required permits or access details.

  • A 6 ft by 6 ft clear area for the cart and a small support table, plus a dedicated 15-amp circuit. The cart fits in most dining rooms, kitchens with open floor space, living rooms, sunrooms, patios, and back yards. We bring everything else, including water and waste handling. For outdoor events, a level surface is the only requirement, and we can bring power if needed.

  • Ben and Halle, the owners of Solarium, plan and run our events personally. We are owner-operated, which means the person you communicate with during booking is the same person you meet on event day. You will not be passed to a coordinator or a day-of substitute.

Beverage Options & Customization

  • Single-estate espresso from George Howell Coffee Company, a Massachusetts roaster recognized nationally for sourcing and roast quality. We are currently serving Montecarlos Medium from El Salvador. The relationship is direct, not through a distributor. The syrups, including Halle's Morning vanilla, Brown Sugar Cinnamon, and two rotating seasonal flavors, are made from scratch using whole ingredients. This is not commodity catering coffee.

  • Yes. Custom signature drinks are a $100 add-on. Ben and Halle will work with you to create a drink built around our house-made syrups and single-estate espresso, named after the couple, the brand, or the event theme. Pair this with custom cups ($150) for a wedding favor that doubles as the actual drink your guests are holding.

  • Yes. Hot chocolate, steamed milk drinks, matcha lattes (sourced from MEM TEA), and chai lattes are all available as add-ons. Iced drinks are standard during warmer-weather events. Decaf espresso is complimentary for evening events. If you have a specific request for a Concord event, mention it in the quote form and we will let you know what we can accommodate.

Booking & Payment

  • Services start at $599 for a single barista, serving an estimated 50 drinks per hour. Most Concord events run 2 to 3 hours and land in the $800 to $1,400 range depending on guest count, service window, and add-ons. Two-barista setups for larger weddings or school-wide events start at $999. You can get an exact quote in minutes using the form on this page.

  • No travel fee for most Concord events Concord sits at the outer edge of our standard MetroWest no-fee radius, roughly 30 minutes from our Framingham home base via Route 2. For events in adjacent towns like Acton, Lincoln, Sudbury, or Bedford, we will confirm any travel coverage in your written quote.

  • As soon as you know your date, reach out. For weddings, 4 to 8 weeks of lead time is typical for spring and fall dates. For PTO teacher appreciation events in May and graduation-season private parties in June, 4 to 6 weeks is recommended. For weekday corporate events, 2 weeks is usually enough. We always try to accommodate last-minute requests, so reach out even if your date is close.

General

  • Yes. Independent school and public school events are some of our most frequent bookings in the area. Whether it is a faculty appreciation breakfast, an admissions event, an alumni reception, a parent association morning, or an end-of-year celebration, we bring everything needed and work within the school's space and timing. Reach out with the school name, event window, and expected attendance, and we will confirm fit.

  • Yes. Solarium Coffee carries liability insurance. Most corporate venues, schools, and event spaces in Concord require this, and a certificate of insurance can be provided to your venue coordinator on request.

  • Three things, and they are connected. First, Ben and Halle, the owners, plan and run our events personally. There is no staffing agency, no scheduling layer, no last-minute substitute. Second, the espresso is single-estate from George Howell Coffee Company, and the syrups are made from scratch. Most coffee cart operations in this market use commodity beans and bottled syrups. Third, the pricing is published and transparent, starting at $599. Most Concord clients book us because the combination of those three is unusual in this market.
